Anyway, is it a school of thought that Asperger's is not Autism? Is it a matter of opinion? I googled it and found both sides being stated as fact.

You never saw a stranger as cute or you mean the married part?

I would definitely agree that saying Asperger's is different than saying Autism, but I just thought of it as being more specific. The way he said it made it seem as if they're unrelated and to describe someone with Asperger's as being autistic would be inaccurate, which are things I haven't heard before.
 
According to the old DSM-4, Asperger's Syndrome is autism. The difference is that with Asperger's there is no delay in the cognitive and linguistic functions. Aspies can have some or all of the other symptoms of autism.
