in depression and like it is it weird?

Yael, people with ASD can certainly get depressed, but perhaps you are in a shutdown?

A shutdown is a warm, fuzzy, foggy state, where we go internally to rest, recover, and begin to heal.
The brain can be overwhelmed by sensory sensitivities, social obligations, emotional dysregulation, and stress chemicals in the body build up, until the brain goes into an energy-save mode, like an electrical brown-out, which we call a shutdown.
This is a time for us to be quiet, recover, and build strength back up, slowly, without excess input. We may feel slow, foggy, blah. Sometimes, a shutdown isn't safe, because our awareness can be impacted.
But many times, a shutdown is natural for us, and we heal within it. :herb:

If you are depressed, or if you are in a shutdown, I hope you feel better soon.

you right im probly have shutdown and im indid feel slow, blah and even foggy, pretty much losing intrest in everything, hardly doing the little that is nessary like eat, drink or taik a bath and just dying inside, prefar it that way.
I admit I am not really looking to heal.

I have talked with my therapist about this, what may seem like depression. I seldom think of myself as depressed, though others have mistaken my "down time" as depression, so I wasn't certain. I also feel a sense of growing calm and clarity often in response to over-stimulation or stress. These periods have many times resulted in very valuable insights, ideas, decisions. As Warmheart said, they can be a time of healing.

If you're having negative thoughts, losing interest in the things you love and general inability to properly take care of yourself then it's probably depression. You can't survive in a pit, you need to find positive outlets. It sounds like you're in a zero-sum sort of mindset so why not try an antidepressant? As long as you're not feeling suicidal.

i guss it is a way of inner sucide.

If you find the right medication then it isn't like suicide at all. The proper drug won't make you numb or even make you feel like a different person, it will give you controll.

You are right though, a drug on its own will not solve your problems on its own, but it will make those peoblems easier to deal with in the process of finding a solution.
