Impressed with myself to this day, mobile handyman work. At first, worked for a construction company for 3 years and it was a good place. Boss sold the company and the new owner ran it to the ground. Then it was with another one and they did not care at all working there for 4 years. It was playing with danger with some of my ex co workers and the last straw was after one sent me to the ER. One decided to pulled the safety back on a framing nail gun and hit the trigger pointing it like a gun. The nail went through my right hand and it did hurt. They were cited by OSHA for that too. Good thing was my step dad got me out of that place, worked with him doing handyman work and that is when I really liked it. He taught me well on the work ethics. One was not to cut corners and not do shotty work. Also be honest to the customer, do not nickel and dime them with a positive attitude. I learned well and it was after my step dad passed 10 years ago which was hard. Luckily he put it in his trust that I took over and been doing a great job of that. I have a great list of customers to this day, homeowners to landlords that rent out houses. They also give me a good word recommending me to new customers
