I'm New Here...

Hello, I'm Icarus75, a fifteen year old Aspie from Scotland. I live with my sister who is also Autistic, although low-functioning, my parents, my cat, and my hamster (who, obviously, are kept totally seperate!). I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of five, and (perhaps mistakenly) diagnosed with dyscalculia three years ago.

My main interests are Nintendo and it's many franchises, and the rights of other Autistic people. I have also developed an interest in computing recently, and while I am most certainly no expert, I am interested and eager to learn.

Additional info:

* I stand against a "cure" for Autism, but advocate other helpful, humane therapies

* I am rather depressed at the moment, due to social complications both online and offline

Welcome, Icarus75, to our wonderful forum, Aspies Central.

Just post here. AC is a great friendly place. Just have fun here, it will all be good :D

Hello Icarus, and welcome to Aspies Central. As Geordie said, this forum is a great place to interact with others and make new friends along the way. We're a very close, tight-knit community that is quite friendly and understanding. Hope you like it here.
