I'm finally having hearing aids done

I got some for trial and they work great. It also turns out that the previous hearing test was busted somehow and I indeed have a significant amount of hearing loss. Wearing them for a couple of days I didn't understand a word about 4 times only, including when I had to turn the volume down. That's amazing.

But it wasn't easy. The tech quarreled with me that I have too small hearing loss. Btw I think I did the test wrong again and it's still a bit bigger, because I have 30db loud tinnutus ringing all the time and later the tech commented that it's strange that I don't hear the noise and metallic sounds in the hearing aids with my result, and tbh I can't hear quiet "white noise" type of noise, because my ear ringing is louder than that - and ear ringing results from hearing loss. So it means that the hearing loss is the same volume as the ear ringing, apparently, and my mom who is a doctor confirms. But either way I don't care about silly unrealistic theories how much hearing loss is enough for hearing aids and according to someone who has never met me.
