When we had to do this in 4th grade,
the teacher marked off for any answers like
"the Earth," "water," or "air"

This was frustrating.

1. A clean conscience
2. The love of my wife and children
3. My health
4. My sanity
5. Knowledge
Everything else I can acquire, use, and discard as needed; no need for 'possession'.

<SARCASM>
1. My Rolls Royce.
2. My Yacht.
3. My Rolex Watch.
4. My Hair Dryer.
5. My 120' UltraHD 4K LCD television.

(1) A nice home, (2) an unending suitable supply of food and (3) clean drinking water, (4) A good friend and (5) opportunities for education. :)

Maslow's hierarchy of needs FTW !

In the spirit of the game, assuming my hierarchical life needs were taken care of

1) My minimutts
2) Kindle (or library card?)
3) Boppy pillow (too bad I had to wait to breastfeed to find out what an indispensable sensory soother -- not to mention reading prop -- this is for me)
4) Iced tea
5) Macbook

Maslow's hierarchy of needs FTW !

Right up until last week "FTW" meant something
altogether different from "for the win" to me.

I went to school in Flint, MI.
Lotta shoprats there.
FTW was a suggestion of what to do to
the world.

Last week I saw an ad featuring colorful little
sort of anthropomorphic abstractions hopping
around, with internet abbreviations on them.
I couldn't believe "FTW" was on one of those
cute little guys.

Then somebody explained to me. . . "for the win."
Ohhhh.

1. Family
2. My library collection
3. A good knife and/or axe
4. A way to start a fire
5. Cookware

Do they have to be real? All mine are fictional....

Well here they are anyway:

1. Point-of-view gun from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy that works on both sexes

2. Rights to a Dyson sphere

3. Robbie the robot from Forbidden Planet

4. My own Kraken (CoT or Pirates variant, I don't care)

5. The Bebop from Cowboy Bebop

Oh, if only these were feasible.....
