If you could change your name, what would it be?

I was named to annoy my grandfather, should have been named after him, guess my mom had a beef Ron is not a Dutch name. My mothers sister also named he second oldest Ron. I guess they colluded. to send a message. My dad hated his name, named after a jerk uncle. Name was Noach.

My name was very unusual when l was younger, and now it's very common. I like Janelle, Jacienda. Either one, l have an affinity for names starting with J.

i think i’d want to change it to the name my mom wanted to name me originally when i was born.
sophie is a very elegant name, i enjoy it.

My partner's real name is Ari-Pekka, but he goes by Pekka... probably the youngest person to want to go by Pekka, lol.
It used to be a very common Finnish name, but has now sort of gone the way of names like "Justin" and "Brett" - no longer in frequent rotation, and is seen as a little dated.

On a similar topic, one of my irl best friends is named Hjördís, and the meaning of her name is "sword goddess." That is pretty epic. This name doesn't fit her at all, since she is tiny, adorable, and bubbly.
Her name is pronounced sort of like "YUR-diss."

My other best friend is named Levi, like the jeans. None of us have been able to come up with a good nickname for him, other than a riff on his last name.

I can change my name, but can't see any reason to, even without considering the hassle for everyone.
