Do you do little things to test people without them knowing?

I just ask if I really need to know. But often I just ignore facial expressions and body language I can't figure out. If someone is upset they will tell me if it's my business.
 
Yes, all the time. But it generally results in the person thinking I'm stupid.
 
Sorry, I read the the question from a different context.

It's kind of hard to answer, because nobody's a mind-reader and we can only take an educated guess from body language and all that - which I don't have trouble with so I don't need to test.
 
No. I just take people at face value until they demonstrate I shouldn't. Too much work to test them deliberately.
