I no longer drink. That is a start.

I was abusive to some people here in the past, now I wish to dismiss what i said back then.

I am coming down from a lung infection now and looking back at my life. I want to help others here as much as they have helped me.

You have already helped people here. I have seen you come a long way here over the years. You have overcome your addictions with our encouragement by working hard until you succeeded. There are a few others here (no names) who have just wallowed and not tried. You are our success story.

Seeing you succeed has helped and encouraged me in dealing with my own life. Your success against nearly impossible odds has made my problems seem almost trivial.

Thanks, and don't give up. We are here to support each other.
