I also have Asperger's and my son knows I have it as well.I was in kindergarten when I was diagnosed with this.Teacher saw issues with me,one was communication skills and did not want to be with other classmates at first.My mom took me in and doctor mentioned this getting a second opinion.I have learned to live with it well.I got better after that learning to make friends and communicated better.I live a normal life and my husband knows I have it which he still loves me.
 
Thanks for sharing, @AdriannaD. I'm glad that you can say that you've learned to live with it well. That feels like a great success in my book. The love from your family and that which you give to them is so lovely, too.
