How Did You Become Diagnosed?

I got diagnose after my teacher ( in 1º grade) find me different and learning nothing, so my parents go to the family doctor and he make me have some test and then they said i was aspie. But i only was aware of that later.
 
I was looking for a job (in itself a near-miracle) last year, and the agency I visited directed me to a psychologist after my first individual meeting. I sat down for a six-hour evaluation with the shrink's assistant, and got the diagnosis one week later.
