Hello, my name is José, i´m from Portugal and i´m on the spectrum(not officially diagnosed). I found this forum because i knew i´m not alone and maybe we can help each other and share valuable information. I´m much better helping others than helping myself...
If i make at least 1 friend here it´s perfect for me already because i´m a loner. I don´t like beeing alone for too long, it starts feeling like a living hell for me but i have some strategies to cope with it...

Hello. Welcome to the group. I am late diagnosed (at 64 - I am now 66). What are your interests?
Your strategies may help people here.
I suggest you read a lot of posts to find others' interests and difficulties. Then you'll have a good feel for the group

Welcome, @Archelon

The limiting world of NTs does make alot of things lonely. Especially when it does feel like you are the odd one out. It's actually interesting though. Because some of us take to being alone, like a fish to water. I am not that way, though alone time helps.

I've spent alot of time in self-isolation, and it didn't exactly help my mental health.

But I do agree with @Jumpinbare about taking a look around at posts on here. You'll find we all have plenty of struggles, victories, and even nice moments. The world of ASD is wonderfully diverse, and something we all experience uniquely. Despite a few baseline facts with executive funtioning issues and socail skills issues, which are shared among all of us.
