Hi, Portland,OR guy looking for help

I don't have a lot of time left where I'll have reliable internet access so I was hoping to get what info I could before it gets cut; I've been looking for an organized support group for people with autism in or around the downtown area of Portland, Oregon and haven't been having a lot of luck. I don't have an official diagnosis yet but I'm trying to get one so that I can get access to what resources I can, and also fighting for disability. Are there any places that offer support groups and connections to resources specifically for people with Autism around here? And barring that, are there any kind of groups that just meet up around the area that don't put pressure on members contributing, monetary wise? I don't have any kind of income so I'm not really able to pay any kind of membership fee or help with covering costs.

Sometimes you don't need a support group with people with autism, sometimes it is right in front of you. It can be your family and friends. One of the people I go to for support is my Cycling Teammates.

I don't have any family here, or really anybody, that I feel close enough to call a friend. I'm pretty much on my own here.
