Hi All,

I'm from ireland, I'm 38 and just recently had the lightbulb moment when It dawned on me that I was on the spectrum after a consultant doctor suggested it to me.
After that meeting I did the research and a lot of things started to make sense.

I'm on an emotional and intellectual rollercoaster and I'm looking forward to reading and posting from others who understand.

Hi there, and welcome to AC.

I remember that moment of confirmation and the weeks after, like you it was a rollercoaster of relief and further anxiety. A decade on and I am more comfortable in my 'skin' than I ever was.

You'll meet a lot of great folks here, wtih stories like your own. Check out our resource section too for more help and advice.

Have fun!

Hi IrishAspie,
I went through the process of diagnosis over the last 4 months or so. Still processing and re-filing memories. I have a therapist who helps with suggestions and information. I find AC helps a lot; I can't put it in words.
Welcome.

Welcome to AC, IrishAspie ! Yeah..I was in my fifties when I began to unravel this lifetime mystery and frustration.

Erin go Bragh! ;)
