I was recently diagnosed about 2.5yrs ago (so not that new) as having Asperger's from my graduate school internship (I'm a social worker and my supervisor sat me down and said we need to talk....long story short here I am) . Oh one other thing I am also visually impaired so my font might be a big and usually in purple if that bothers anyone let me know I can try to find different color. I am glad I found this place. After lurking as a guest for a couple of weeks now. I realized that I'm not a lone and wish I had found this place sooner. So Hi!

Edit: A job preference test once suggested that I should be a social worker. Although I didn't want to take up that career. How is that working for you? :) As for myself, I would like to be a librarian some day.

I think you will get a lot of benefit from being here and so, welcome. The purple font is quite nice actually (second favorite color for me)

Thank you I appreciate all the warm welcome. Ahhh yah I actually like being a social worker. My supervisor who was the one that indicated I should get tested for AS said that I have a unique persepective on helping people. I love it. I thought about being a Librarian too let me know if you decide to that. Thank you I hope to have a good time and meet some people and not feel so alone.

Thank you so much I am glad to have found this place. I really hope that I learn alot and find people who understand. I am glad my room is actually purple and I really do hope for everyone that the purple font won't bother anyone its just easier for me to see with my visual impairment. I am glad I came thank you all for making me feel so welcome!!!
