Hi I'm Mwiche and I'm trying to get diagnosed

I learned I have AS by reading a book. Then I read several more to uncover more pieces of the puzzle. I scored 168 on the Ritvo scale. I've read the original paper published about it. Anything over 65 correlated very well with AS and there were no false positives with over 500 controls. 168 is not a borderline score so it leaves no room for doubt. I'm having my formal assessment on August 21st. It is common for adults to recognise that they have AS after reading a book or hearing about it. I've read that in some countries self-diagnosis is common in lower income groups because a formal assessment is expensive. There may be support available where you live if you have a formal diagnosis. Do you feel there is a reason you need a formal diagnosis? If you are satisfied that AS explains your life and you don't wish to change anything or can make changes on your own, perhaps you don't need a formal diagnosis.

Aillas, how did you make this cool graphic for your welcome? Just curious because I really like it a lot.

I used Photoshop to make it.

I used the eyedropper tool to copy the AC theme colors and used the font Rockwell which looks nearly identical to the AC font (in fact, I thought it was the AC font until, a little over a year ago, Droopy told me it wasn't).

Feel free to use the graphic when greeting new AC users. I use the Firefox addon Clippings which allows me to quickly post stuff, such as greeting graphics, that I post frequently.

And, by the way:

You like My Little Pony Ste11aeres? sorry I looked at your icon?
Yes. The funny thing is when my icon was new a lot of people thought it was just showing moons and planets. I think this is because if your monitor is tipped at the wrong ngle you can;t make out the picture well.
