Hi All

Hi - my name is Rachel and I was very recently diagnosed with Asperger's, although my psychologist told me that he had to call it HFASD thanks to the removal of Asperger's from the psychological books. I am 37 years old and have a 12-year old son with Asperger's and an NT husband of 28 years. I'm looking for help working through my feelings of understanding how much ASD has affected my childhood and adulthood.

Hi Rachel and welcome,
Its never easy being a partner to an NT and a parent. However you are in the unique position, of understanding your son, and guiding him through life. Seeing what he see's, is a distinct advantage, in helping him.
Cheers
Turk
