I cannot get that "All About That Bass" song out of my head!! It has been haunting me for the past few days. I try to listen to other songs, sing other songs, or preoccupy myself with activities to distract myself, but the next thing you know..."I'm all about that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble." It is baaack!! I do not even like the song because of its shaming message.

What do you do to get rid of an earworm that you are not fond of?

What works for me, is, when I have a song stuck, is to listen to it once (mp3/youtube/wherever) and that seems to satisfy my senses enough to be done with it.

That said; popmusic seems to be geared towards creating these earwurms anyway, so apparently the song must be doing something good, lol.

OMG you and me both! A friend showed it to me on his phone 4 days ago and it's been stuck in there ever since.. images on repeat in my brain, too! And then I was watching the news yesterday morning and they featured a clip of it. bah!!!

Perhaps, this would make the song less annoying to some; provided you like Star wars.

:tearsofjoy: That song made my day! It certainly took care of the issue. I have not been a Star Wars fan since I was a kid, but I have to admit that song was brilliant. I adore a clever (sci-fi) parody. Now we only need one for Star Trek...Round of applause for you for that video, and thanks!!!
