Hello, I'm 49y.o. Male from Glasgow in Scotland. I've been diagnosed Aspergers for 6 years. I love music and recently passed grade 3 piano. I play sitar, guitar, mandolin, ukulele and a few other instruments, though I'm no virtuoso. I'm hoping to study music through the Open University in October.
I've not been employed for a few years now, but I'm constantly looking to get involved in music or art workshops, Aspergers forum groups etc. And I try to remain productive.
Looking forward to getting involved in the forum and talking.
Best wishes

Hi am 49 to with aspergers and you have come to the right place to chat there are amazing people here i live in southport merseyside uk

Hey Oscar, thanks for the welcome. Nice place Southport, I visited it twice when I lived in Liverpool in the 80s.

Hi Mescalero! Welcome to Aspies Central. I also really love music, but I'm definitely not a pro at it and I wouldn't pursue it as a primary career (just graduated with a degree in biology); I still consider it something as a pastime and something I enjoy very much. If I had more time on my hands, I would love to learn how to play guitar.

I wish you best of luck in finding a great job in the field. Also feel free to post often if you have any questions, concerns, or anything you would like to share here on this wonderful forum. I actually prefer to call the community here a close-knit family because we are always there for one another.
