i hope the CMHT dont believe you are making symptoms up because of your interest,that would be very patronising and undignifying.

No they're not like that at all. Honestly it's me who thought a lot that I was making it all up. Part of the depression I believe. They're the ones who have been reinforcing that I do actually have mental illnesses to my parents. My dad doesn't get mental health or autism and my mum has trust issues with me with these kinds of things for reasons she doesn't remember. But she does now believe me. It's reassuring when you hear it from a professional, you see.
