Hello to Everyone

I am Matthew and I have Asperger Syndrome. Since I was diagnosed 20 years ago, I have wanted to demonstrate that I am capable of overcoming my Autistic tendencies. I have accomplished this by doing a number of things. This has included volunteer work where I am currently the head of a local church volunteer group which I have been leading since 2011.

I am also part of a mentoring program for people with Autism and various other disabilities and we are currently in the second year of this program. It has a lot of fun to share my experiences and wisdom with others who are just like me/

I also have pursued the desire to demonstrate that I am capable of speaking like other people. I have done this by playing video games and uploading my exploits on to YouTube where I also talk about the game that I am playing and show that I can speak like other people.

I hope to get the chance to share more about myself in the future. It would be great to do so.

Welcome Matthew. I am new here myself, and I believe you've come to a place where sharing seems to be encouraged and rewarded. Have a nice day, bud :)
