I am dating an amazing guy who just joined this site. He is just starting to learn to accept and embrace himself. I am looking to better understand him.

sorry upwardrain, for misspelling your name.
I think you and you boyfriend have a beautiful opportunity of self discovery together.
The members will try to give you the support when you two need it, You may need support as well as your boyfriend on the road of discovery.

It's awesome that you joined here as well. It shows that you truly do care about him! I struggle sometimes with reading my girlfriend and often feel she doesn't really care about me. I am the one with the problem so I joined here to help better understand what I need to work on (socially). I also am now seeing a therapist. But I don't see her doing anything on how she can help the relationship. You obviously care!

Welcome to AC Upwardrain.

Always nice to see someone wanting to make any effort at trying to understand Aspies in as much as many of us long to understand Neurotypicals.
