Hi, I'm Eli and I am currently attending college, but I really am having a hard time socially, and am having trouble making and having friends....
 
Welcome, Eli! I hope you can find friends here, and maybe gain some insight into how to navigate the labyrinthine world that is college social life.
 
Oh, college. I remember college. It was hard for me too---it was so difficult, in fact, that it's what led me to be diagnosed with ASD in the first place.

Yes college is wonderful for that. I tended to just stay in a corner and not interact socially unless I had to. That was surprisingly easy considering there are hundreds of students. But you do not have to do that, I might change that now that I am older. There likely is something like toastmasters or another program to help those that have a hard time making friends in your area. Or groups related to special interests. Speaking of which, what are your interests?

At least this forum has a lot of people you can probably relate to better than the general populace of college and become friends with.
