Hi,
I am a 24 year old frenchman. I don't know if I am an aspie, I was diagnosed with adhd but after meeting the adhd crowd I don't think I belong in that category.
I've always done my own thing without caring about what people were thinking, which probably originated from being screamed at and not understanding why growing up.
I've come here because I read the symptoms list and some blogposts I identified with.
I'd like to improve my social skills and maybe make some friends along the way :).

Welcome! I also joined the forum to improve my social skills and make friends. I identify with the statement about your past. After I was diagnosed with Autism I did a deep dive on symptoms and actually made a long list of all those that I identify with and my experience with them. Hope you have a great time here!

Hello and welcome. I hope you can learn alot here and find some kindred spirits. This has been a great place for me to learn how to communicate better and take some chances on getting to know new people.

Hi and welcome. I hope you find people you can relate to here and can help you to better understand yourself, it's a bit of a journey for all of us. In general we're a pretty friendly bunch and don't mind answering questions if you have any.

Hello. Welcome. When I first heard of autism I did not think it had anything to do with me but as I learned more about it I saw I was exactly like that. I started meeting autistic people and I was amazed because there were things about me that I always thought were private, ways that I was strange and individual.

But I was meeting strangers who were exactly like me even in the small ways I never told anyone about, the really small things I never mentioned to anyone.

I was amazed, the autistic people were like me. Then I realized no, I was like other autistic people. I was autistic.

I hope you meet a lot of people here and see that they are like you and you are a part of something.
