im steph, im 31 with 3 kids and lovely partner
iv been struggling for years with wrong diagnosis's including ocd and others but i believe aspergers to be correct for me, iv pretty much ignored it but my partner and me have only been together for 6 months and iv pretty much come close to ruining it already with my meltdowns and moods so did some exploring and it led me to aspergers
i did the online test things and im not sure how accurate they are but got a score of 36 the partner got 8 which he thought was very funny
im not sure how to approach my gp as iv been before a few times and get given a prescription for anti depressents and sent home,
i also suffer with anxiety and my attacks can be terrifying and have even landed me in A&E
i suffer with vertigo and migraines and been trying to fnd a link between it all and some things iv read point to a link i dont kno if anyone here can relate of suffers the same
i dont really know what else to put as im all new to this, only my partner knows as i dont really have friends, i have 2 but they dont need to know anything yet
sorry my intro isnt very good i struggle to find words sometimes or put to many that dont really make sense so trying to keep it short but sweet

Hi Steph! Welcome to Aspies Central. I'm the same way with words: it takes me a long time to think of the right ones to say. Feel free to chime in on our conversations and post any questions, concerns, or insights that you would like to address. We are extremely friendly and we consider all our members as part of a close-knit family.

Hey Steph. Welcome to AC. You know it sounds like it might be good to continue to explore this diagnosis for yourself. Migraines can be triggered by stress. I get them often when I am stressed out.. when I am so overwhelemed and stimulated that my body doesn't know how else to respond. It can be an anxiety response too. Well anywhoo. Welcome to AC. I hope you find us nice and comfy.

Hi Steph,
I am not one to struggle with words, nor get migraines, but I too have my daily battles. You made it this far, and you are in a relationship. Pretty good in my book. If you do have Aspergers, finding out will be life changing.
Good Luck,
Peace
