OK SO HERE IS IT.. HAVE BEEN MARRIED TO AN ASPIE FOR 42 YEARS.. my son realized this after my husband left me... i was his Beard.. needless to say... i have felt since i quit drinking 25 years ago,.. he didn't love me.. cause i could not feel him, and he always fled as soon as any feeling came forth..and anytime i would say do you love me... he would say, at first.....i do the dishes..// and then... and now he says quit aTTACKing me... why do you always have to start a fight and blame me for your neediness... etc e3t5c etc .// . I AM NOT HERE TO DITZ HIM... i finally understand what happened.. i have been seriously ill, mentally, physically, spiritually, until now.. and have deteriorated for 40 yEARS. i blamed me too.. as did my children... ANYWAY... I CAN NOT FIND SUPPORT FOR ME IN THE USA. in england and new zealand... for EMOTIONAL DEPRIVATION DISOPRDER.. AND CASSANDRA'S... i can not find a way to reach maxine aston.( wrote " the other half of the Asperger syndrome)... I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA.. anyone know od help for me? if not, i would like to start a support group... the only person in the USA, she started SALVE, , and she retired..at the autism centers in ca... they only work with kids, and mothers as the adjunct to support the kids. THANKS
 
Welcome to the forums. I did a search for help/support for your disorder and couldn't find anything, No online forums. Maybe you could speak with a psychologist that could help.
