Have you met another Aspie in real life?

Yes, I have a second cousin who has asperger's, very much into computers. I also occasionally go to a support group for aspies so there's quite a few flavours there. I have wondered if my best friend also has it but I'm hesitant to mention it to him.

Yes. My mom and step dad. They are two peas in a pod. I was preaching at a church for awhile while they were hiring a new pastor and there was a 17 year old aspie. I got to know he and his family pretty well and we would have great aspie discussions after church. I also have a few aspie customers that I get along great with. I can talk to these people for hours.

Yes, I've met a handful. The ones I had the most contact with are my ex boyfriend, who I was with for 1.5 years and my best friend who I've known for over 3 years now. Having Asperger's is one of the things that made us connect so well, we have a lot in common

Only my youngest son. Other than that I have never met another Aspie that I am aware of. Except for here, of course.

Yes, once.
But at the time, neither of us were diagnosed.
Not sure if she had realised that she was, but I certainly had no idea.

Have I ever met an other aspie. I suppose that depends on weather or not I am an aspie myself.

I have deffinetly met aspies though. A surprising number of people in the trans community identify as trans. I have met at least four aspies through a trans support group, and a fourth trans aspie in a political context. My ex-boyfriend's fience (a cis woman) is also on the spectrum, and we now count each other as friends.

In addition to these confirmed cases I have known a couple of people who I strongly suspect are on the spectrum. I had a Dungeon Master once who described himself as, "Like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, but with social skills." He always wore sunglasses because light hurt his eyes, and according to him this condition was getting worse. He did astrophysics for fun. He was also a prodigious speadsheet designer who would use them to track everything in our games of D&D and had spent over a thousand hours designing a spreadsheet for flight planning which he claimed was more efficient than the industry standard software. Maybe I'm wrong about him, but he ticks a lot of boxes.

Being part of the gaming scene I also tend to run into a few people who avoid eye contact and know a ton of statistics. They are deffinitely a small minority, but their presense is persistant. I would guess this is common with any group dedecated to a very niche interest.

I have one friend who straight out told me, we shared an anthropology class and we really kicked off. She and I have really gotten to know each other and now we text each other every couple of days. This is definitely one of the more unique relationships I've ever had, our conversations are deep, we talk about sayings that make no sense, AS in general, movies, music ect. Also I feel more relaxed around her, I know I don't have to fake eye contact with her; we've already had whole conversations facing the same direction. I'd definitely recommend trying to meet someone IRL with AS as well.

I have an aspie neighbour. She's got it a lot worse than me, it can be hard to tell that I'm even on the spectrum, while she is unable to go about her daily life without help. I don't know her very well but she seems nice. She's into roleplaying, the dungeons and dragons kind.
