Have you ever had an obsession with people before?

Not necessarily weird. I have been dating my girlfriend for 9 years now, and my obsession with her was rather light compared to some other people. The worst ones were during my relationship. I felt guilty each time I feel that way. I never pursued any one of them, just waited patiently for the obsession to disappear. It eventually happens but messes me up in the meantime.
