No, not that hardcore, this hardcore! Yes, that fast electronica genre commonly associated with chavs.

It's definitely a diverse genre. Not all of it is crap like a lot say, you just have to dig past the cruft. Although it comes down to whether or not you like the fast tempo. For me as soon as I heard it, it became my favorite genre (after DnB and hard trance). For some it has to grow on them, for others it's just too noisy (literally sometimes).

I did hear on xtc its great and also it can be kind of ok while under the influence of marihuana / alcohol.
