Darth Binks is real.
i am rotting away at home, and it hasnt done me any good. i am a in a teicky situation where i want to move out, but i feel without the ability to work or fill my time affectively, moving out will just be changing prisons.

when i was living in hospitals i did well. even without as much to do as being at home, i still managed my time productivley and beinfited greatly from living with people, even with all their noise.

i am not sure where to go from here, and this is my only good idea. aside from living in hospital, i have no knowledge of how any of it works. has anyone lived in a group home? if so, i need them details.

Are you in USA or elsewhere? Do you have access to case management or social agency help? A great way to learn transitioning outward is to work with counselors who can show you. If you lived in a nursing home, and wanted to live on your own, in the Chicago, Illinois region, there are resources for people to get free housing, and services to teach them how to be independent. It’s called the Williams and Colbert Consent Decrees.
