My name is Ben and I'm thankful for the internet and the people who created this website! I first heard the term Aspie in the summer after my freshman year of college when a customer of a taxi service I created accidentally sent me an email intended for his wife. I did some research and think that the Aspergers brain wiring fits me well.

I'm interested in investing and have done that since high school. I'm fascinated by business. I like Libertarian philosophy and politics. I'm currently trying to teach myself the Python programming language and SQL. I'll graduate from college in three weeks. After I get my career squared away, I hope to date a woman who's like me.

I have three main issues: 1. People have told me my whole life that "I'm too stiff" and that I "need to relax," but I don't feel stiff and don't know how. This is a major obstacle for me in job interviews. 2. My legs get stiff when I start to walk up stair or start a physical activity. After I warm up, I can climb stairs and do physical activities well and I'm pretty athletic. 3. I have trouble saying certain sounds. For example, LL becomes W and I have trouble with "sh" and "ch" sounds.

I look forward to chatting!

Hello, welcome to the forums!! It's nice to see a fellow programmer around - I've studied both python and sql (as well as various other languages) :)
I haven't personally dealt with any of the physical issues your describing, but I do have some of my own personal quirks in how I walk/sit/run/pretty much anything. I'm sure that you'll find some answers and some people to talk to about it. We have a great community here and we hope you feel at home.

Hi Ben :)

Welcome aboard! That's an interesting way to stumble across Aspergers, haha. Least you found us in the end.
