:) A dedication for the opening of a trail and park along the river here, which was a land trust deal that worked out great, thanks to a bunch of good-minded folks. This eventually will connect with other trails which thrills the heck out of me as it's only 1 mile from my house.

A day to cherish the raw desert just outside my front door. :)

And my immediate neighbors- desert cottontail rabbits, black-tailed jackrabbits, quail, coyotes, lizards and rattlesnakes.

Ooooh. That sounds nice. I'm wishing for a local desert run myself, but instead I'll celebrate Earth day in the yard, with bullfrogs, the resident corvids and flickers, and the first blue dragonflies this season. And a private little prayer for Rachel Carson.
