My old boss is going to let me do the last two months of my internship over the summer, and he is going to find me something to do other than phone calls. So I get to keep my work experience!
 
I asked him if I could still use him a reference even though I had to quit since these were extenuating circumstances, and he said I could if I completed the internship when I am less overwhelmed and offered to find me something less centered on phone calls to do.
