That's really cool! The longest I've ever lasted at a job was 5 years. Typically, I last six months to a year before getting fired or encouraged to resign.
Sounds nice. Good vibes on a golf course....except perhaps with those aggressively seeking to improve their handicap. 
I love a good pristine, manicured landscape.
Sad though that golf courses here are on the decline...a combination of the recession and long term drought conditions.
