G'day from the bush.

Hi everyone,

Glad I found you all. I have a 2.5yr old son with HFA. We live in a very isolated part of the country and services are very hard to come by.

We got our dx almost a year ago and initially it was PDD:NOS but this has since been reassessed and has now changed to HFA.

I have so much to learn, as my son is still a little mystery to me.

I'm glad you found us! I'm sure you can learn quite a bit both from parents and from those of us on the spectrum ourselves. Please feel free to browse around and ask questions.

So, welcome!

Cooee Suze.

I am living on the edge of the bush in the southern suburbs of Sydney. Not exactly the outback, but I counted 18 cockatoos in my backyard this morning.

Gday there Suzie, and welcome,
Youve come to right place to unravel the mystery, that is your son. You are not alone, as many of us have walked this path already
Cheers
Turk
