I tend to ignore the calender but I love coincidental number patterns. I often find my eye drawn to the clock just as it turns to all the same digit. And I notice liscence plates with sequential numbers or unintentional words.
 
I am interested in palindromic sequences. They are even part of our genome and are not a good thing. They are fragile sites that can form structures that impede normal replication and can cause cancers or cell death via genetic change.
 
Numbers are so intriguing. I love the stock ticker string on tv's., streaming real time numbers. I can stare at number sequences in code for Linux.
 
I too like and can’t help notice pretty sequences; I am a wannabe mathematician.
