For society: Autism is mostly an accident

I believe Autism (including AS and all the sub types) is nothing more than coincidence or "accident" in brain development in the womb. And I don't mean an "accident" as in "brain trauma" or toxins. I mean as luck would have it parts of the brain just form "a little differently" which produce a variety of similar symptoms within the Autistic population.

I strongly believe this is the true cause of autism and also the most difficult for society and parents of Autistic children to accept because of the "randomness" of it all. It is basically causeless. And given that it is "here to stay".
