food issues

I have a question and not sure if this is the right place to post. I had lunch with a friend and while eating, he packed food into one cheek. He looked like a chipmunk I have never seen anyone do this. A few months later, I saw him walking around while eating a sandwich and he did the same thing. I decided to look this up due to curiosity and found this to be a spectrum behavior. The info I found pertained to children, so I am wondering if this is common in adults.
I do it now but it comes from the excitement side of panic for me ,don't do it very often if at all think I did it as a child but again not very often, maybe it's something that male aspies do
