Fireworks in UK near November 5th

I have two stories here. Hopefully more councils in the UK will follow suit, animal charities and pet owners know how fireworks can leave pets petrified and distressed and there was the youths in Niddrie Edinburgh who attacked police with fireworks! Please see stories below:-

Stupidity. Teenagers threw firecrackers at someone's small dog and I was shocked. The owner was livid and for good reason. Thankfully nothing happened to the dog physically.

When you get out of the house you don't know what you'll encounter, maybe be prepared for war.

Bonfire night in the UK is bad for hedgehogs too, they can nest there. (I'm going to have a trial day for volunteering at a hedgehog rescue charity on Wednesday, wish me luck)

Good luck. Hedgehogs have been seen a lot in the city here too, they need to take them somewhere more appropriate, they'd hide under cars and cross the streets. The problem with trash attracts them, and bear mama has been sighted coming into town.

When I went on a skiing holiday in college some idiots were firing fireworks from a balcony at skiers. They were arrested and had their passports taken away. They were from a different college so never found out their fate.
