Fashion Help: Corduroy Shirts

Hi all:

Anybody on here good with men's fashion? If so, I would be grateful for any advice on what would go well with a black or navy blue corduroy button down.

With the black one, I'd put black jeans and black and white Converse shoes for casual or, black trousers, a black jacket, teal or royal blue tie and, black dress shoes or ankle boots.

With the navy one for casual either denim or khaki pants and white or tan shoes. For formal White trousers, navy blazer and shoes and, a white tie.
