im starting this thread because i keep hearing people refer to INTJ and INTP personality types both of which involve introversion, i however though clearly not a social butterfly (not sure if those of you not from the UK know the saying, basically means a very socially confident extrovert) have never really felt wholly introverted, my understanding is that there is a continuum between extrovert and introvert and i guess i fall somewhere between rather than clearly on either side. i sometimes really enjoy social interaction and feel recharged from it despite really struggling at actually being socially successful due to Asperger's, other times i really cant stand social interaction and fail miserably at it (really depends on energy levels, the people and situation). i would say im not introverted because i don't really enjoy my solitude most of the time either and i rarely feel recharged by alone time.
i know its possible for aspies to be extroverted though fairly rare. what do people feel about extroverted aspies the sort of aspie who really wants to be social but just like their introverted aspie brethren struggle with social interaction on many levels. it would be interesting to see what people think
