Susanna Reid is trying to say in this clip, if someone has been abused by someone and later on, the abused person was to confront that person, that is assault. If someone done nothing wrong and was abused, any confrontation as a result is caused by the abuser!
 
Why do you keep paying attention to what TV personalities say? Being in the public eye does not automatically grant knowledge, or wisdom, or any form of legitimacy. In fact the entire entertainment industry is reknowned for it's lack of morals and ethics.

Imagine living in a world created by the likes of Jeremy Clarkson. No thank you. He's a very funny man, very entertaining, but not really very nice.

Ok... that was one of the most dysfunctional interviews I've seen in a long time. I am not sure if anything could have been gleaned from that interaction.
 
I didn't even bother to watch it. I googled the names to find out who they were and that was enough for me to decide that it's just click bait junk.

You seem to have an over-inflated perception of what constitutes personal injury or a civil wrong that can or would be pursued in a court of law.

Even in Great Britain if no criminal charges are levied or no civil suit is filed, it all amounts to nothing but bad taste and salacious, tabloid-style television.

"Click-bait" indeed.
