In scotland UK highlands. are there any organisations i can contact to bring me some food that Ill eat or an emergency carer service.

Hello and welcome!

I'm not familiar with the UK, though to my understanding one's local council is usually a good place to start enquires with. You can find your local council by visiting Find your local council in Scotland

Care Information Scotland seems to have a general information service both for care-seekers and care-providers, including a phone line and chat during weekdays. Their website is Home | Care Information Scotland

There are some groups and associations for carers. While they are intended for carers, perhaps you could try contacting them to ask if they may be aware of any carers in your area who might be available.

By the way, how were your needs taken care of before? Did you have a friend, neighbour, or relative that was helping out who is no longer available? If so, have you tried asking them if they might be able to suggest or recommend someone?

Good luck.

what part of the highlands ? carers aren't reliable in n.e.england ,you can try meals on wheels, contact your local social services, but be warned they can be abysmal ,i waited years for delivery service provided by supermarkets, try social services- theres an out of hours number for my local council ,i've never contacted them, the info below is only! if you've recently left hospital ,they'll get food for you, prescriptons ,but usually after a referral from a gp or hospital therapist and its for UPTO 12 weeks
