Does your Aspergers ever get you in trouble?

Yes, and here of all places. Had moderation action threatened against my account because of "the way in which said it". It does happen in real life, but was really not expecting that here.

security guards--who were actual police officers, by the way, not that those really need to be patrolling a high school.

We had actual police officers too!

I spent the whole time insulting the cops who were detaining me, and they didn't like that.

I got a bucket of ceramics supplies I could KEEP--of course I paid for it--in college. The students/teacher were like "What's the big deal?" and I was like "In my high school we'd have these under lock and key" and they were like "Why?" I was like "Do you know how many ways you could turn these into shivs?"

What the hell is wrong with all your schools???? They sound more like prisons or fictional institutes to have such over the top security procedures. None of my schools had security guards, police visiting, metal detecting wands or searches or pat downs.

- Chased with a shovel by my older brother for correctly observing that he was fat. Age 6.

- Interrogated for sexual harassment at age 9.
(I had gone about the school offering unsolicited hugs, thinking people appreciated that sort of thing. Wrong.)

- Accused of "demonic inspiration" at age 12.
(Artsy all of my life, my creations took on a Gothic tone post-puberty)

- Threatened with expulsion after flooding the school kitchen at age 15.
(Other students had warned me that wasn't how to mop, but ever the individualist, I tried my own method)

Wow, you're certainly an awkward aspies dream girl (no sarcasm) very quirky.

As for my traits getting me in trouble, well I used to work as a brand ambassador and sales colleague in various electronics stores and it used to annoy other brand ambassadors when I messed with their rolling demos on the TV's and annoyed one or two of the managers when I kept turning the store demos volume down all the time and the reason was because I can't stand things being repeated loads and I was the only one who couldn't put up with it so I'd hide the usb demo sticks or just turn stuff off or down to make my days more bearable.

Not that I can recall. I've done some not very nice things without realising but I don't think I've ever been in trouble for it. My desire to argue with people does tend to get on people's nerves though.

Yeah although I loved it most of time. I remember one time I poked a hole in a full bottle of dawn in chemistry and when she asked why I did it I said "There was nothing on TV" sarcastic remark because she had a Big fat TV on one of those AV stands. In all reality I did for no reason other than I felt like doing it on impulse.
My aspie obsession of drawing and writing songs ment I never took notes in class.
I threw my math book in a dumpster once without thinking so I had to steal a new one and forge my book number in my teachers hand writing.
I flipped off my principle when I went into my Norman Bates complex and left my body.

Once I shut down in public and somebody called the police because I seemed like I was on drugs. That was, of course, an extreme case, but unless I am paying conscious attention to how I am presenting myself people tend to assume that there is something wrong with me (even though I am usually just thinking).
