Do you like where you live?

I kind of like it. I think a lot of it is due to having gotten used to my surroundings and knowing where everything is, everyone road goes and that kind of thing. I have an idea of where I'd like to live when I can afford it though. :)

I'm quite happy with where I live. If I walk out of my house and turn left, I can find jobs, shops, cinemas and my college. If I turn right, there are woods and open countryside. Plus, my street is full of old people so it's quite quiet.

I hate where I live. We have bad weather nearly all the time - extreme temperatures, humidity, tornado threats, etc. The people around here are nosy and have no respect for anyone's privacy; they try to pry into my private business that really doesn't mean anything to them, and often tell everyone their own personal things that are meant to be kept private. It's hard to be alone and unbothered. I don't even want to go outside because there are so many people who just can't leave me alone to enjoy myself. Plus, there are tons of trees, and wasted light spilling into the sky, which makes it very hard to see the stars and anything else in the sky. I long for a special, private place of my own, outside, but there's nothing available.
I'm looking forward to the day I'm grown up and living on my own. I want more than anything to live in the country, with nature and privacy all around.

I like where I live, it's a nice city, but I would rather look at pictures of it than go outside and walk around in it. The people really bring it down. I've met some nice understanding people, but otherwise...boring, nasty, dull, spiteful, uncultured!
The centre is half an hour or so away, but I live on the nicest street in a rough suburb. There are charity shops and little shops, including two greengrocers and a butchers, at the end of the street.
Our house is nice, and detached so we don't have to put up with noise. We have a big garden. Although my dad had the hedge cut down a few years ago so I don't spend that much time in it now.

I would love to live in Haworth on the moors, or in Limousin. Paris in short bursts.
