I was way more prone to be creative because our kind always seeks coping mechanisms, and most of the time, it is absolutely the arts genre that we gravitate towards and even excel at.
Not so absolute. Many of us gravitated to the sciences instead.
 
you never had a GF until you met your wife?
Depends how you define girlfriend. There was a girl from my church who took it in her head that I was her future husband. I had no romantic interest in her, but I didn't want to be rude or hurt her feelings, so we had a very one-sided "relationship" for a few months. We only ever saw each other at church functions, but we sat together and skated together.

I would say she had a boyfriend, but I was being nice and tolerating her..

So I would say yes to your question.
