Do you ever have a dream so good that waking up comes with a sadness for reality?
I don’t know how to write the title to express the concept. I woke up about 20 minutes ago from an amazing and wonderful dream.
The dream featured companionship, great music, thrilling situations, and felt so real!
The deep and profound sense of loss only came when I woke up to the realization that it was a dream. There was a feeling of joy and excitement in that dream, a type of happiness that has eluded me for almost a year or possibly many years.
Now, as the fragments of memory and images dissipate from my mind, I find myself trying to hold on to them and not succeeding.
“How soon is now?” By the Smiths was playing in my dream and it fit the setting like a glove.
Do you experience good dreams that make you feel bummed out?
