Do you have any advice on how to improve my eye makeup?

thanks :)

For some reason both nurses and patients alike love how I do my eyeliner. Simply, I use black liquid and make a cats eye just on top lid. Eye shadow is all one color (blush red) which I also use as blush. I dry the liquid liner with a hair dryer btw, because most say they don't do liquid because it takes too long to dry. I think the blush makeup makes it all look more natural too.

Well, I don't wear makeup that often, but I know certain colors are supposed to draw attention to one's eye color. For example, I have blue eyes, so brown eye shadow is a color that works for me.

Hi amelia

I think you would look good with a green eyeshadow and a darker green in your crease line to make a 60s look, your eyeliner is nice as it is.

I don't have much experience in this area, I hardly wear makeup or dress up much. I do think blue eyeshadow would bring out your eyes. Other than that, I think you look great.

I agree with the general opinion here that you are beautiful just the way you are. Improvement is opinion by the way, are you not happy with the look? You have deep, dark eyes, with fair skin, a bold contrast that requires little attention to accent this feature. Also, you have bold cheeks which lend to bringing out your eyes. I believe you have made a good choice in staying with subtle color on your lips, as anything darker would result in competition and an undesirable contrast between the two.
Marycv suggested blue eye shadow which you could use to add color and fun to your outfit, and perhaps glitter eye shadow for certain occasions, but nothing is really needed here. Please consider what applying things like this may do to your body. Chemicals applied to your skin are absorbed into the blood stream and do have an effect. It may be minor, but they add up in time. There is a movement among women here to go make up free. It is catching on a little, but a worthy move to consider. Other than fun (an idea I love and understand), I really don't see the sense.
Good Luck

For what it's worth, Peace, there is makeup out there which avoids the toxic substances found in most products. I decided long ago that I would only use things that would cause me (and the environment) minimal risk. But going barefaced is something I do about 99% of the time anyway.

Amelia, as has been stated already, you're lovely as you are. I can understand wanting to try new things, though. :)

Unfortunately, I cannot help much with this (lack experience). While I agree with the others that you're lovely as is, though I like the suggestions above about adding some more colour to the eyes - for what that's worth.
