Dealing with loneliness and depression while also being gay autistic and adhd

So for a few years now I have been open to my mum and psychologists that besides having autism and ADHD and depression I am also homosexual since childhood but it took me until my early 20's to realise I like guys only problem is that the gay community where I live is pretty much only on grindr and there are no autism friendly lgbtq bars where I am at now or any gay bars for that matter but I do live in Sweden which is known for being very gay friendly but the community is only really in the larger cities and I do not live in the larger cities like Göteborg or Stockholm .

I am very lonely with only one close male friend
with him being straight when I asked if he was also into guys and we have known each other since elementary school and besides him there is basically just my mum and the staff at the lss home where I now live lss standing for lagen för särskild service .

In general I am very socially inept such as my habit of oversharing highly disturbing facts and information that is nsfw or nsfl but once you get to know me I can be very affectionate and kind and I am also hypersexual which means I fall in love very easily before I truly get to know somebody and I feel it more intensely than others which can be a problem.

I am not interested in sex but I am very much interested in tickling and it has been like that since I was a teenager.

I do have a pet fish though and he is a betta I named Max after the Steve Purcell character

I have had Max for about a month now and he should live for a couple of years if I take good care of him.

I used to have a pet bunny named Sture that died at just 6 months old likely from myxomatosis and this photo was taken about a month before he died.

Hi Turbocks, I haven't met you yet but it's nice to see your pets! So glad they have someone like you as a caring owner.

My wife lived in Sweden for a couple of years and was really surprised by the cultural differences between the big cities and the more rural/smaller town. Reading Richard Bachman's books has been a real eye-opener to the challenges there.

I don't share your exact situation, but I think we here all face extra challenges finding our people. Life does have a way of putting people in your path who you can connect with, though, so the one thing I can say is don't give up hope, and keep trying. Pursue your interests, find people who share those. I can't guarantee anything of course, but it's likely you'll find home at some point (and hopefully soon).
