CompTIA A+ 901/902 - anyone taken it?

I've spent the last month or so studying up for the CompTIA A+ exams, and while I've found some material, I'm wondering about both the content of the exam and the differences between its last iteration (the 801/802).

After this Friday I won't even be in school anymore, to be quite frank, I'm just coasting at this point, and I've been hired by a company that will pay for the exam if necessary at some point in the future. And I already have Network+ (006), Security+ (401), and Cloud+ (001)...and I'm wondering...do I even need to bother?

I know it's pretty obscure outside of the purely technical field, but I wonder if anyone else has gone through the A+ certification process, especially recently, and if they have any good reference material that is an improvement over the textbook and Professor Messer series.
